Welcome guests with the Tan & Black Captain’s Bars Lobster Rope Doormat. Classic Captain’s Bars frame the tan-and-black palette, bringing tailored coastal character to a front porch, cottage entry, or waterfront home.

Handwoven in our Southport, North Carolina studio from carefully selected, reinforced, UV-enhanced marine-grade lobster rope. UV enhancement helps reduce fading; prolonged exposure to intense direct sun can gradually change color.

Engineered to stay firm and flat

Professional engineering work informed the equipment we use to create a tight, firm weave. The mat is designed to hold its shape: it won’t curl or sag in normal use. We carefully melt the rope ends together for a clean finish—no staples.

At approximately 8–10 pounds, depending on size, the mat has substantial weight to help it stay in place during everyday use.
